Before you join

A fair route to the start line.

  1. 01
Join the queue for R99 now.

Give us your basic details. The R99 fee is nonrefundable and puts you in a numbered queue; it does not yet secure a race place.

  2. 02
    Entries open on 1 October.

The first 99 people in the queue receive an email invitation to complete their entry. You will have 48 hours to respond.

  3. 03
    Complete your entry for R900.

If invited, you pay the remaining R900, add your runner profile, and then your place is confirmed. R99 + R900 = R999 total.

If someone does not complete their entry, their place moves to the next person in the queue. That is why joining early matters.

The R99 queue is open.

Joining the queue does not secure a race place. On 1 October, the first 99 people will be invited to pay the R900 balance and complete their entry.

Join the queue.

You must be 18 or older on race day. We will ask for your runner story and profile information only when your turn comes up.
